How to choose?

• Number of ports — ≤8 for a small room, 16–24 for a floor, 48 for a comms cabinet that ties everything together.
• PoE — none if you only need data, PoE+ for APs and phones, PoE++ for cameras and heavier devices.
• Uplink speed — 1, 2.5 or 10 GbE towards your core or server, depending on how much traffic converges.
